J. Scott Walsh - Founder and President
A graduate of Paul Smith’s College, where he was named “Most
Outstanding Culinary Arts Graduate”, Scott trained at Virginia’s
famous Inn at Little Washington before returning home and launching J.
Scott Catering in 1995.
For the past 10 years, Scott has worked hard to establish a reputation for exceptional food and superior customer service. His efforts have not gone unnoticed. J. Scott Catering has been recognized locally and nationally for their culinary talent and fine attention to detail. Just recently, J. Scott Catering was voted a “Best Caterer on the Main Line” by Main Line Today—for their themed events.
Jon Jividen - Executive Chef
Executive Chef, Jon Jividen, brings more than 23 years of top level catering
experience to his role at J. Scott Catering. Jon graduated from Culinary
Institute of America in Hyde Park N.Y and trained in restaurants and hotels
both in California and Pennsylvania before settling in at Ridgewells Catering
in Maryland, where he was executive chef for thirteen years. During this
period Jon and his staff served parties from 10 to 10,000 including international
dignitaries, celebrities and U.S. presidents. As our executive chef, Jon
dazzles our guests with his brilliant food.
